Mikel Arteta has suggested he still has a number of bizarre training methods after a now-infamous clip from the All or Nothing Amazon documentary.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Arsenal boss’ eccentric methods were on full display in Amazon’s fly-on-the-wall, ‘All or Nothing’ documentary. Now no longer in the public eye, some have been questioning whether Arteta has continued, or even developed, his quirky training approach. With the Gunners set to face Manchester City in their biggest game of the season on Sunday, the Arsenal boss may have prepared his players with something even more dramatic.

WHAT ARTETA SAID
Ahead of Sunday’s game, Arteta said: “What if I tell you that I did something when we beat Man City at home? I might have done it and maybe it was needed because we won! It doesn’t work like that. We have to do what we feel and what the team needs and try to shape that up so they are in the best possible mindset and are convinced and have the feeling that they’re going to beat any opponent.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Sunday’s game represents a chance for Arsenal and Arteta to prove they are a better side than the one that got swept aside at the Etihad last season and worthy of winning the title. The Arsenal boss will know, having been without William Saliba in that game, how important it is to have his full-strength side available. Arteta will be sweating on the fitness of key players Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes, who have not trained this week.
WHAT NEXT FOR ARSENAL?
Arsenal’s game against City will take the headlines on Sunday and could prove to be the pivotal game in the title race. However, both sides will be watching Liverpool’s match against Brighton earlier in the day as the three-horse sprint to the finish line heats up.
