Besides being an exciting wide receiver prospect, Keon Coleman has several other hobbies. The Buffalo Bills second-round pick loves to chill around the house, drops by at the local bowling alley to smash a few pins, and even knows how to strike a golf ball calmly.

However, Coleman prefers to take it slow, which sounds slightly contradictory considering he is a receiver. During a recent sit-down with the Bills front office, the 20-year-old highlighted his leisure activities.

He revealed having dabbled in the art of golf, but not so much that he can proudly compare himself to one of the greats of the sport.

I’m Tiger Wish He Could. I’m not Tiger Woods.–I wish I could pint the ball half…shooting 500 [yards]. I ain’t doing that. But I am gonna go and have fun, you know. It’s controlled chaos. You are frustrated, but you can get it back. Pull a muscle in your back while trying to hit the ball. So it forces me to stay calm and enjoy the game.

Even when he was trying to lighten the mood of the room, Coleman mentioned something important. He touched upon the importance of staying calm, which allows him to have fun on the field instead of losing his bearings and messing up his output.

Nonetheless, Coleman became an instant fan favorite at his first Bills press conference. He also went on an innocent rant about where he bought the yellow jacket he was wearing that day and even expressed his guilty pleasure of eating cookies.

Did Josh Allen have a hand in the Bills drafting Coleman?

It’s a great sign when the team’s quarterback watches the film and says, “That’s the guy I want to play with.” The Bills general manager, Brandon Beane, revealed that Josh Allen had a similar reaction before the Bills took Coleman 33rd overall.

While appearing on the SiriusXM NFL Radio Show, Beane elaborated on how Allen got involved in selecting Coleman.

Josh [Allen] is crazy about the draft process. We did give him some guys; we said, ‘Hey, sit back with the coaches; y’all watch them together and talk about how you’d use them. I’d like to hear what you see.’ And he liked a lot of the guys. Keon was one.

The next day, Allen Facetimed Beane, asking him whom he and coach Sean McDermott had decided upon.

And he was like, ‘What are you thinking?’ And I said, ‘Well, barring somebody blowing me away, I’m going to take Keon.’ And he was pretty pumped.
