A Taylor Swift fan said she was “shocked” when the pop star’s boyfriend Travis Kelce accepted a friendship bracelet from her during a concert in Australia.
Swiftie Pia, from Australia, uploaded a video on TikTok showing her standing just metres from the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who travelled from the US to attend his girlfriend’s Eras Tour at Accor Stadium in Sydney. In the clip, the fan can be seen removing a beaded friendship bracelet from her wrist and giving it to Travis.
The American football player accepts it with a smile and puts it on his wrist, alongside a stack of other friendship bracelets. He then said “thank you” before turning to another fan and waving at them.
Pia wrote on TikTok: “I am in shock that this happened, he just appeared out of nowhere.” The video went viral on the social media platform where it was seen by more than one million people.
Many users commented, with one writing: “Imagine them going home and he showing all his friendship bracelets to her,” to which Pia replied: “OMG.” Another wrote: “The way he smiled when he put the bracelet around his wrist!” One more said: “It was the little ‘thank you’ for me.”
A fan added: “I love it that he doesn’t mind wearing the friendship bracelets in honor of Taylor that is his girl.” One wrote: “He’s a good guy! We love him here in Kansas City!” And another commented: “This is the CUTEST!”
During the concert, Travis was seen supporting Taylor and was cheered on by her fans as he walked through the crowd to go to his seat. Crowds of Swifties could be heard screaming as Travis, dressed in a matching blue T-shirt and shorts, clapped and waved while making his way to his spot to watch the concert. Taylor’s boyfriend was also seen clapping as the concert began and the crowd cheered.

Other famous faces at the concert included Katy Perry and Rita Ora, who were spotted chatting in the crowd as they waited for the show to start. Former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison was also seen in the crowd alongside his two young daughters.
The first of Taylor’s four nights at the stadium was due to start at 7.30pm local time but kicked off just before 8pm following a delay caused by adverse weather. The Accor Stadium shared in a post on X, formerly called Twitter: “Please note, due to weather, show start time has been delayed.
“Stay undercover until further notice and follow venue screens and staff instructions. Stay safe and remember to be kind to those around you.”
