Billie Eilish criticized for selling tickets at ‘sky-high’ prices: ‘Learn from Taylor Swift’

Billie Eilish’s new tour ticket prices leave audiences feeling unsatisfied!

Billie Eilish recently kicked off her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour in 2025 to promote her third studio album of the same name. Tickets for the tour have also been put on sale by the singer, in which Billie Eilish will perform 6 nights at the O2 arena with a capacity of up to 20,000 seats in London.

The Daily Mail recently reported that ticket sales for Billie Eilish’s show this time were not as expected. The official ticketing website recorded that many seats were still available for Billie Eilish’s performances.

The reason for the lack of tickets for this tour is that Hit Me Hard and Soft has a “sour” price that makes fans feel dissatisfied. Specifically, standing tickets for this show cost from 145 pounds, while higher-class tickets cost up to 388 pounds

This price tag is in stark contrast to Billie Eilish’s previous Where Do We Go? tour in 2019.

On social media, many posts have compared the ticket price of this Billie Eilish show to the most popular tour at the moment, The Eras Tour by Taylor Swift. In that, on the Scotland, Wales, London and Liverpool leg, fans only need to pay 175 pounds to enjoy Taylor Swift’s show.

With this “reasonable” price, fans are willing to pay to see Taylor Swift perform for 3 hours with impressive and eye-catching performances. On the contrary, Billie Eilish received a lot of criticism for charging too high a price while she is still a young singer on the rise to fame, not to mention that the duration of this female singer’s performance cannot exceed 3 hours like Taylor Swift.

Previously, the singer born in 2001 faced a lot of controversy when she said that artists who organize 3-hour shows are “crazy”: “I will not do a 3-hour show. That is really crazy (psychotic). No one wants it. You don’t want it, I don’t want it either.

I don’t even want that as a fan. Even if it’s my favorite artists, I don’t want to listen to them sing for three hours. That’s too long.”
