The Thursday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys ended badly for the New York Giants, not merely for losing 15-20 but their star wide receiver Malik Nabers sustained a concussion, resulting in him leaving the football field.
It happened late in the fourth quarter when the rookie was attempting a difficult catch of a fourth-down pass thrown by quarterback Daniel Jones, on the sidelines. For a brief moment, it appeared he succeeded but lost it as the Cowboys’ Trevon Diggs tightly covered him. As a result, Nabers fell on the ground after his helmet violently hit the turf, leaving him motionless and unconscious.
The sixth overall pick finally gave an update on Friday morning to those anxious fans by sharing a picture of himself on his Instagram story to assure them that he was doing alright and his concussion was not very serious.
