Luka Doncic and Caitlin Clark have some key attributes in common. They both have elite basketball IQs and can shoot it from anywhere on the floor, and Doncic’s clip from this past NBA season resurfaced after Clark’s massive performance Friday night.
Clark scored 31 points and added 12 assists en route to a victory over the Chicago Sky. The Indiana Fever are now in comfortable playoff contention and are looking to end a seven-year playoff drought.
Doncic is coming off his first NBA Finals appearance this past season and has supplanted himself as one of the best players in basketball, and he had high praise for Caitlin Clark during an interview.
“That’s the women’s Steph Curry. She can shoot it better than me.” Doncic said
The video resurfaced last night after Clark’s unreal outing on the road, leading her team to a much-needed victory.
Clark leads all rookies in points, assists, steals, field goal made, three pointers made, and free throw percentage. Averaging 18.4 points, 8.3 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.4 steals.
The Fever have eight games remaining in their season, and Clark may have stamped shut the rookie of the year race Friday night.
