“The View” on ABC has been steadily declining for many years. Following Barbra Walters’ retirement and Elizabeth Hasselbeck’s quick succession, the show’s ratings began to decline. It broke the all-time record for the lowest television ratings in the 10 AM to 2 PM time period this week, setting a new low.
Executive Producer Joe Barron remarked, “It’s pretty embarrassing for the hosts. They think their show is popular and deserves every award there is.” Because of their blinders, people are unable to see the reality of their circumstances.
Even the award shows are taking a pause because things have become so awful. Because of Whoopi’s opinions on the Israel-Hamas conflict, the Daytime Emmys will not accept any nominations this year. Barron stated, “Their fans weren’t pleased with any of that, and they’re already witnessing the outcome.”It appears that Newhole confuses online reality with her own world. In the virtual world, Whoopi gets fired every month, The View is in disarray, and they are constantly being sued.
It’s much more satisfying than making the effort to keep up with reality, especially when they continue to win awards.
