The Indiana Fever came out to play on Sunday as they blew out the Seattle Storm in a dominant 92-75 victory.
While the likes of Caitlin Clark (23 points, nine assists), Aliyah Boston (nine points, 15 rebounds, eight assists) and Kelsey Mitchell (27 points, five triples) all showed out on Sunday, it was third-year guard Lexie Hull who came off the bench to steal the show.
Hull went berserk in this one, dropping 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting. She could barely miss as she knocked down six out of seven attempts from deep to help lead Indiana to a big win.
Hull was so good against Seattle that Caitlin Clark announced after the game that she was converting her X page into a Lexie Hull fan account. This then prompted a strong message from the Fever.
“big Lexie Hull fans here,” the Fever posted on X.
Hull, who is averaging 3.7 points per game this season, is far from a superstar. However, the 24-year-old turned in a career performance on Sunday which has, unsurprisingly, turned heads.
Hull, Clark and the rest of the Fever have now logged back-to-back wins following Friday’s victory against the Phoenix Mercury. They will look to make it three in a row when they battle the Minnesota Lynx on Saturday.
