Capturing the moment on Instagram, Rice eagerly sampled the sauce, expressing his anticipation with the words, “Here we go, Peri-Peri Saka time. Is it nice Saks?”

THE BIGGER PICTURE
To further promote the Peri-Peri Saka sauce, Nandos featured the Arsenal midfielder in a promotional advert, where he showcased his skills as a chef crafting the sauce. In the advert, Saka is seen passionately instructing the kitchen staff to add more garlic, tomato, and lemon, ensuring the perfect balance of flavours. The advert culminates with Saka infusing a touch of heat by adding chilli to the mix, elevating the sauce to new heights.
“I love it and can’t wait for everyone to try it,” Saka said. “I’ve been going to Nando’s since I was little so to have my own sauce is quite mad.
“My family’s really important to me so I wanted to make sure they liked it, too. As soon as my Dad said he was a fan, I knew it was the one.”
