Jhonattan Vegas had been out of the winner’s circle on the PGA Tour for seven years. His last victory came in 2017 (RBC Canadian Open).

Vegas played the 3M Open with rounds of 68, 66, 63 and 70 to finish at 17-under. The Venezuelan finished one stroke ahead of rookie Max Greyserman, who shot the best final round (63) but was one stroke short of forcing a play-off.

Veteran Matt Kuchar tied for third with Maverick McNealy on 15 under. It was Kuchar’s first top 10 finish in 2024, and McNealy’s best finish of the season.

Sahith Theegala finished in T6 for his seventh top-10 finish of the season. Theegala was the favorite for the title, but finished four shots behind the 3M Open winner.
