Phil Mickelson recently shared a couple of reasons for being happy. The first was that LIV Golf UK was sold out, and the second was that he had finally found his game.
Phil Mickelson is in Rocester this week for the ongoing LIV Golf UK, which is taking place at JCB Golf and Country Club. He is competing here after finishing T60 at the Open Championship last week.
On Saturday, July 27, Phil Mickelson shared a clip of himself arriving at the JCB Golf and Country Club on his X account. In the video, many fans were seen queuing outside the golf course for the second round of LIV Golf UK.
“Sold out LIV event(again), I found my game (finally), Its going to be an awesome day,” Mickelson wrote in caption.
Although the six-time Major winner is optimistic for the second day, he had an average first round at LIV Golf UK. He carded a 1-under 70 in the opening round, which included four birdies, one bogey, and a double bogey. He was tied for 35th and was seven strokes behind the leader after the first round.
When will Phil Mickelson tee off at LIV Golf UK, Day 2?
Phil Mickelson is grouped with Kalle Samooja and Kevin Na for the second round of LIV Golf UK. The trio will tee off from the ninth hole on Saturday, July 27, at 2:15 pm BST in the shotgun start.
