Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic carved up the Chicago Bulls on Monday night, making everything look easy in a dominant 127-92 victory at the United Center. The Slovenian sensation set the tone early, registering 15 points, six rebounds, and six assists in the first quarter alone to finish the game with his seventh straight triple-double.

Already an all-time great

The things that Luka Doncic does on the court are simply astounding. At just 25 years old, he is already considered one of the best players in the NBA and has been hailed as a generational talent. In just his sixth season in the league, Doncic has proven that he can do it all – score at will, rebound like a big man, and facilitate for his teammates with pinpoint passes.

After the game, Bulls wingman DeMar DeRozan had nothing but praise for the young superstar.

Almost had a triple-double in the first half

The Bulls simply had no answer for Doncic, who had his way with any defender thrown his way. By the end of the first half, he already had 15 points, nine assists, and eight boards. He completed his triple-double at the halfway point of the third before finishing the game with 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 assists.

Luka’s performance on Monday was tepid by his standards, considering his previous six triple-doubles saw him score at least 30 points.

DeRozan said having to execute a game plan to defend Luka is a true headache for any team.

“His IQ, the way he reads the game, the way he breaks down defenses. It’s hard to stop,” DeRozan shared.
