Cam Newton “doesn’t approve” of Bill Belichick dating a woman 48 years younger than him, leaves Mac Jones in splits
During the recent ESPY Award ceremony in LA, former Patriots players Cam Newton and Mac Jones chatted on how they felt about Bill Belichick’s new romance with a 24 year old cheerleader.

Cam Newton and Mac Jones could not contain themselves when talking about Bill Belichick and his new girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. The former New England Patriots teammates posed varied responses when asked about their ex-head coach’s new endeavor.
On Thursday, July 11, Newton and Jones caught up with each other at the 2024 ESPYs at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The 35-year-old served as an interviewer and had a special question in mind.
Newton initially asked Jones how he was doing but quickly changed the topic to Belichick’s headline-producing dating story. Rob Gronkowski confirmed last month that the veteran head coach is dating 24-year-old cheerleader Jordon Hudson.
Both Newton and Jones burst out laughing and asked the new Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, “What are we doing? Do we approve?” Mac Jones replied, “I need your opinion first.”
Cam Newton took a moment before answering.

Jones was, however, fine with the development concerning his former coach.

It’s the 48-year age gap between Belichick and Hudson that got social media riled up after finding out about their relationship. The pair were seen at a dock near Wisconsin, boarding a private yacht.

Belichick reportedly met Hudson back in 2020 on a flight and was even spotted attending a cheerleading event of which she was part. Hudson even showed up at Foxborough to watch a few Patriots games when Belichick was still the head coach.

Johnson and Long each played one season under Belichick in New England.

So for at least one season, football fans would not get the chance to see the most successful coach in history calling shots from the sidelines. Instead, he will showcase his football brain in analysis on television.
