Thank you for reading this post, don’t forget to subscribe!In the Wolves’ first game in Phoenix, Edwards was still having a lot of fun on the road, highlighted by a WWE-style “DX crotch chop” celebration he did in the fourth quarter after a Rudy Gobert and-one layup that sealed the game.

Edwards said postgame he was unaware that he was doing a move that originated in WWE during the 1990s.

“I was trying to get Rudy to do it with me, but he would never make eye contact with me, which was crazy because I threw you the ball for the and-one,” Edwards said to Gobert postgame.

“I know, I might be concussed,” Gobert joked in response.

The 22-year-old Edwards is averaging 28 points on 49/37/91 splits, 7.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.3 steals in the first three games of the series, all blowout wins for Minnesota.

Edwards has completely dominated a series with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal on the opposing team with both his scoring and playmaking.

Make no mistake, Edwards knows the job is not finished yet despite the dominance Minnesota has had over Phoenix.

“We don’t think we broke their spirit until we win Game 4,” Edwards said. “We got to win Game 4, and then we can say we broke their spirit. Because you never know, man, a lot of crazy things happen, so we got to come out and be the most desperate team once again. We can’t think that they’re gonna give us the game because they down 3-0, they want to win a game, they don’t want to go out and get swept.

“We got to come out and be ready to compete at a high level, even more than we did in the first three games, and we gonna be ready.”
